Track Biography:
The point-to-point course is located at Loughanmore, Dunadry near Templepatrick.
Our landowner, Wilson Dennison has owned and produced a number of top-class national hunt horses including graded winners Yorkhill, Shaneshill, and Bellshill.
Our point-to-point is proud to have launched the career of many talented young horses who have gone on to make six figure sums at the horse-in-training sales in both Ireland and the UK. Some of the leading names include the Cheltenham festival winner Ted Veale and the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up Truckers Tavern.
Its reputation as one of the premier tracks in the country, ensures that is has a particularly strong recent roll of honour, with the four-year-old maiden that is run at their Easter fixture really standing up to the test of time.

How To Get There
By Road
From Belfast– Take the M2 to the international airport exit. Turn left to Templepatrick and take the third exit off the first roundabout. Once you pass the Hilton Hotel take the first road on the left.
By Air
Loughanmore point-to-point is located 15 minutes from Belfast International airport and 25 minutes from George Best airport.

One of the real attractions of point-to-point racing is the opportunity to get up close and personal with future stars of Irish horse racing in a relaxed and family friendly environment.
Combined with extensive free parking we have a number of natural and man-made banks to help with viewing. As the parking is in the centre of the course you are never too far from the action. This also provides an ideal spot to enjoy a picnic while you enjoy the racing with a brilliant view of the whole track.
Disabled parking and toilets are provided at the track which allows all race goers to enjoy their days racing.
In our bookmakers ring you can view and bet on any off-course races on the day in both England and Ireland

Our outside food caterers are located beside the parade ring and bookies. They supply a variety of tasty hot foods such as burgers, sausages and chips.
If you would like to satisfy your sweet tooth we have a doughnut stall and an extensive sweet and chocolate stand that sells a selection of delicious goodies. There is also an ice cream van in attendance on the day.
Alternatively, why not come along early and enjoy a picnic before the action gets under way or take a break midway through the day to refuel from the boot of your car.
Our extensive car park is the perfect location to relish the atmosphere of the races whilst entertaining friends and family.

Race goers can purchase teas and coffees from our special coffee cart that sells a variety of popular coffee options.
Soft drinks and juices can be purchased from our outside catering outlet.
If you would like something a little stronger to keep you warm during your days racing, alcohol can be purchased in our on-course bar.
No, we do not have an official dress code we just advise our race goers to stay warm and dry for your days racing and to prepare yourself for all types of Irish weather.
Dogs are very welcome, but need to be kept on a lead at all times.
Yes, we welcome visitors to bring their own picnics or refreshments. We also have a range of catering options on course if you don?t fancy packing a picnic for the day.
At our point-to-point, we are lucky to have wide open spaces for children to play in a safe environment.
No we do not provide an ATM so we recommend that you make a stop in Templepatrick on your way to the races.

Loughanmore point-to-point is the perfect day out for the family in Northern Ireland countryside and as an added bonus for parents all children U16 have free admission.
As our spring fixture is held over the Easter holidays, our point-to-point offers the perfect location for a weekend away with the family. We are located less than half an hour drive from Belfast city and Belfast port which makes it extremely accessible for visitors to combine a city break with a day out in the countryside.
The award winning Hilton hotel is situated only five minutes from the track and along with a superb golf course it also has a luxurious spa to experience.

BRAVE LIONESS would look to set the standard for this as she finished a very encouraging third in a high-quality looking maiden at Borris House last month. The form received a timely boost last weekend, when the horse that finished alongside her came out and won easily in Monksgrange, and her connections will be hoping she can repeat that here. The Colin Bowe stable has enjoyed a welcome change of fortunes in recent weeks, and it would be no surprise to see Miss Valdez take a step forward from her Castlelands debut a month ago.

The winners of both divisions of this contest last year have gone on to contest Grade 1 races this season, and another quality renewal is expected this time around. Stuart Crawford has unleashed plenty of nice performers at this venue in the past, and his SMITHYTOWN has the form in the book. He finished strongly at Kirkistown on his debut, and represents an in-form stable. Matudi La Colmine also made the placings on his debut over the shorter 2m4f trip at Punchestown in February, whilst Mon Missel finished second at Tyrella last month.

FRENCH ADVENTURE has done little wrong this season finishing third on three consecutive outings, including behind an impressive winner at Carrigarostig. The horse that finished just in front of her has since won her maiden, and that form would look to set the standard for this on her return from a short break. There are plenty of dangers with Annie Mulligan, Order Another One, Gracehill and Princess Aveen, all bringing previous placed form to add depth to the contest, whilst the Ross OSullivan pair of Agusta Diamond and Ar Aghaidh Leat were both sent off as the favourites for their respective debut, which could be worth noting.

It is hard to look beyond THE GREAT UNKNOWN in this. Sam Curling has won two of the last three editions of this race, and this seven-year-old, who is owned by his mother Adelia Greer, has been the class act of the mares division this season and will be expected to land her sixth win of the campaign here. Hathaways Cottage was successful in this race 12 months ago, but has disappointed since. There were more positive signs in her latest effort in Down Royal to end a run of non-completions, whilst pointing newcomer Carmarthen has an unusual profile on stable debut, as she was last seen running in a 5f handicap on the flat for Linda Perratt.
