Track Biography:
The Wexford foxhounds was formed in 1810 at Slevoy castle.
They have been holding their Autumn fixture at Knockmullen House since 2019, with point-to-point having been in different locations over the years including Wexford racecourse, Gowran Park, Lingstown and Ballinaboola.
The track is set over three fields, it has been described as a fair track and with a good uphill finish. There are two fences on the home straight, one at the top and two on the back straight.
The track is located only a mile from New Ross.

How To Get There

By Road
From Waterford
Take the N25 until you cross the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy bridge, at the next roundabout take the first exit towards New Ross. Continue to the next roundabout and also take the first exit. The track will be signposted from here.
From Kilkenny
Follow R700 to New Ross. At the Ferry Bridge turn right onto N30 ring road, follow signs for Wexford/Waterford. Pass Tescos continue to roundabout take 2nd exit onto L8043, at next junction turn right, track is on the left. It will be well sign-posted.
From Dublin/Gorey
Follow the N11 towards Enniscorthy. At the new roundabout at Clovass take N30 towards New Ross, on ring road follow signs for Wexford/Waterford. Pass Tescos contine to roundabout take 2nd exit onto L8043, at next junction turn right, track is on the left.. It will be well sign-posted.
Our free parking is located in the centre of the course which allows racegoers to get up close to the action from the comfort of their car if the weather takes a turn for the worst.
We also provide a disability parking area with fence viewing on the home straight.
If the weather is wet we have temporary roadways laid out to help vehicles going in and out of the course.
In our bookmakers ring you can view and bet on any off-course races on the day in both England and Ireland.
We have a hard working committee and many hunt supporters who volunteer their time to make delicious soups, sandwiches, cakes and buns in the catering tent located close to the parade ring.
We also have a fast food outlet that provides tasty burgers, rolls, sausages and chips.
If you would like something a little sweetener our sweet stall sells bars, confectionary and snacks.
Race goers can purchase teas, coffees and soft drinks from our outside catering outlet.
A day at Wexford hunt point-to-point races is an ideal day out for all the family set in the beautiful scenic area of Knockmullen which is only five minutes’ drive from New Ross.
Racegoers can get close to the action in front of the winning post or at any of the three fences in the home straight. All five fences on the track can be seen from the centre of the course.
Our point-to-point is located forty minutes away from the busy harbour village of Rosslare which has many different ferries operating between England, Ireland and France making our point-to-point extremely accessible for visitors travelling to Ireland for a weekend.
